Today we had the pleasure of recognising Kobie, one of our Tauranga tenants, with a Tenant Appreciation Award.
Kobie was nominated by his Tenancy Relationship Manager Simon (pictured with Kobie) and our Wellbeing Navigator Maree, for the wonderful ongoing support he gives his neighbour Brenda.
Kobie visits Brenda daily and regularly supports her in practical and meaningful ways, including helping with transpor and making sure she can get where she needs to go.
Kobie believes it doesn’t cost to be kind, and that certainly comes through in the way he quietly looks out for others. He was incredibly humble when we presented him with his certificate and voucher today.
Thank you, Kobie, for your kindness, generosity and for being such a caring neighbour. People who look out for others help make our communities stronger, and we’re delighted to recognise the difference you make.
